Yes, Editpoint would certainly be very useful for proof listening to an audiobook and marking up any issues- I expect it also to be used for audio dramas, commercials, or reviewing music recordings as well as podcasts.

At the moment I am an iOS-only development house, with no firm plans to convert for Android, but that may change in the future (incidentally, although raw user numbers are certainly higher for Android, that is not entirely reflected in app-purchase volume and there is a bias towards iOS among the creative industry users which our apps tend to be designed for. An Android version could probably be worthwhile for some of our apps)

Also, as a producer of audiobooks, it seems to me that this would be a good platform to use for proof-listening to the book.
