While I’ve never used it myself, the cat bed would work in theory. Any sort of cloth and padding is going to provide some absorption. It’s typically better to use something made from closed-cell foam, but a little absorption is better than none at all. I recommend solutions using moving blankets or acoustic foam, but if you’re in a pinch, any amount of fabric helps.
