You can use this to power your computer when the power goes off and some of the cheaper ones can run a laptop for literally hours. They can also power your router and cable modem if the power goes out but the internet doesn’t. If you’re a podcasting professional with unreliable power, then spending a few hundred bucks on a more reliable power supply that charges when you DO have power and lets you work when you don’t is probably a great investment.
